
Dr. Rebecca Harp, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Harp completed her undergraduate degree in Avian Biology at the University of Georgia and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University. She spent her clinical year at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Harp grew up in Atlanta and began working at East Marietta Animal Hospital in October 2022. Her area of focus is canine and feline dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery, but she has a strong interest in exotic animal medicine also. This includes working with birds, reptiles, pocket pets and rabbits in such areas as husbandry, nutrition, enclosures, surgery, and behavioral management.
Dr. Harp has 2 dogs, Padfoot and Persephone. Her hobbies include crocheting, bird watching, and reading. She enjoyed raising guide dogs during her undergraduate studies and is now looking forward to helping the practice expand its services to include care of exotic animals.
