East Marietta Animal Hospital – Customized, Personal Service for You and Your Pet
We’re all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your pet.
To make an appointment, please use the buttons at the bottom of the page to fill out your New Patient Welcome Form, then forward your pet's records via email at [email protected] or fax to 770-973-1012. Once these two items are done, please feel free to use the Request an Appointment button to let us know a convenient date and time for you. Once we receive and review your records, we will contact you by phone or email to get your appointment scheduled. This allows us to schedule your appointment appropriately and gives you the most time with the doctor as all of your new client paperwork will be complete upon your arrival.
If you plan to have your first visit on a Saturday, we ask that you contact our office to prepay your pet's exam fee.
Cancellation or Reschedule Policy:
Please reschedule or cancel appointments by 12:00 p.m. the day prior to the appointment. For Monday appointments, please reschedule or cancel by 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (we close at 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays).
Appointments rescheduled or cancelled outside of the parameters stated will mean that future appointments will need to be made with an “Appointment Deposit”. The Appointment Deposit will be $65.00 which is the current cost of a Routine Exam. This deposit will be used as a credit on the account for the actual appointment. Missed appointments or appointments rescheduled outside of the parameters stated will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
We appreciate your help in ensuring that all of our patients can obtain an appointment when needed.
When you check in with our front desk you will be greeted by one of our friendly and courteous team members. A member of our medical staff will meet you in the lobby and bring you to an examination room where we will ask about your pet’s medical condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. We will also measure your pet’s vital signs – just like when you go for a visit to your doctor!
One of our veterinarians will then meet you and your pet and spend some time talking with you to address your concerns, recommend additional diagnostic testing if needed, and create your pet’s individual care plan. This is a great time to ask questions! Our veterinary team wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with the information we are providing.
If additional testing is needed, East Marietta Animal Hospital is a modern facility with state of the art diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and an in-house laboratory; many tests can be performed here.
Our veterinary technician will come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness and care questions you may have. Our staff will process your payment and schedule your next appointment.
We are excited to meet you and your pets!!
Please note: We value your time and our goal is to see all of our clients and patients in timely manner, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when extra care for a patient is needed. We do appreciate your understanding in the case of a wait time as we will provide the same dedication and courtesy to your pet.
